TCBL_Talk looks at different aspects of sustainable fashion: new trends, environmental impacts, and sustainable design and lifestyles. The session provides a range of provocative speakers offering new perspectives on these issues.

Following TCBL_Talk, the TCBL_News session provided an overview of progress since last year's conference regarding the main ecosystem communities: Business Labs, Associate Advisors, Associate Service Providers and Associate Enterprises. This was followed by a brief presentation of the six Business Cases.

Prisca Visbol

Prisca Vilsbøl is an entrepreneur with a firm 12-year background in both design, pattern making and production optimization, and a growing body of research in the fields of new materials, technology and circular economy. Her background as a master pattern-cutter, combined with an interest for innovative materials and technology, has brought her to experiment with biomaterials, advanced manufacturing, self-assembly and programmable textiles. She has made it her mission to use this knowledge towards accelerating the implementation of sustainable and innovative processes, procedures and practices in the field of product development.

Francesca Rulli

Graduated in Economics and Business, with a solid background in the field of organizational engineering and business process management, Francesca Rulli is partner-founder and senior consultant at Process Factory Srl, a consultancy Company focus on organization and processes management, compliance and sustainability.

Supported by the experience gained in several areas, including the use of innovative IT tools, she has developed original methodologies oriented to processes management and sustainability, supporting projects on Supply Chain monitoring and corporate social responsibility, too.

The 4sustainability network ( combines the central role of an effective processes management with the importance of sustainability strategies. Its goal is to support Brands and Supply Chain in the implementation of projects on sustainability and Chemical management.

Danièle Clutier-Léauté

Danièle is a permanent Lecturer in charge of fashion marketing at IFM. She teaches in different programmes and institutions, in France and abroad. Her range of expertise covers consumer behaviour, strategic marketing and competitiveness policies.

She regularly collaborates with France’s Ministry of Industry to design and implement various collective initiatives to help creative industries raise their competitive level on the global scene by acquiring updated design and technological capabilities. She is Secretary General to the R3iLab innovation network.

Danièle regularly carries out strategic studies for businesses and for the European Commission. One of the most publicised was the WORTH Pilot Programme in  2015, that successfully matched 34 designers and some 50 companies and technology providers, throughout Europe, and coached them into developing innovative prototypes.

An alumna of INSEAD’s MBA, her career has been focusing on textile and other creative industries since an early stage when she first joined the Chargeurs Group as international marketing director, after being in charge of market intelligence at Rothmans International. She then went on to set up and run IFM’s Market Research and Consulting Department. 

Elis Kiss

Elis Kiss is a journalist at “K” magazine, Kathimerini’s Sunday supplement. She is former Arts Editor at Kathimerini English Edition, Greece's only English-speaking print and online daily newspaper, published with the International New York Times in Greece and Cyprus. Over the years, Elis has covered the local fashion and luxury industries extensively. Through the high times of the Athens 2004 Olympic Games to the more challenging days of the ongoing recession, she has reported on the Greek capital turning into an international hub for global brands as well as the efforts made by Greek designers and companies to develop their businesses locally and abroad. Elis is also a freelance contributor to a number of local and international publications, including the International Herald Tribune (now rebranded to the International New York Times), Women's Wear Daily as well as the Greek editions of Elle, Vogue and Harper's Bazaar. For two years she produced fashion reports for “Hellenic Weekly,” an ERT SAT television show. Prior to joining the Kathimerini media group, Elis became a privileged witness to the world of international fashion and luxury as assistant to Suzy Menkes, former fashion editor of the International Herald Tribune and currently International Editor at Vogue. Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, to Greek parents, Elis holds a BA in European Studies from the University of Kent at Canterbury. She has lived in the UK, Italy and France.
